Why can't I see any signals in my feed?
Signals are geo-based. If nobody near you has broadcast recently, your feed may be empty. Make sure location access is enabled in iOS Settings → Siren → Location → While Using.
How long do signals last?
Public signals decay every hour based on engagement. A new signal with no engagement typically lasts 12-24 hours. High-engagement signals (AMPLIFIED state) can last much longer as they continue to receive T, F, or C reactions.
What are hash keys?
Hash keys unlock private broadcasting. When two users hold each other's key (mutual), they can exchange P signals, receive L anchors, and participate in M mesh broadcasts. Request a key from any user's profile.
What is a clone?
A clone is your interpretation of an existing signal — a new video responding to or reinterpreting the original. The community votes clones UP or DOWN. Validated clones propagate independently in the feed.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your signals, keys, and data. This action cannot be undone.
My signal disappeared — where did it go?
Signals that reach DEAD state are permanently removed from the feed. You can stash signals before they decay to save them to your archive.
How do I turn off notifications?
Go to iOS Settings → Notifications → Siren and adjust your preferences. You can also manage individual notification types within the app under Profile → Notifications.
